In the wake of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we at Q1 decided to retool a bit. While concerts and events have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future, it was decided we should build things to bring a smile to someone's face, or at least make work life at home a little easier. We still offer all of our usual services. Lighting, sound and scenic design and consultation, custom prop and scenery fabrication, as well as lighting and sound rentals. Keep in mind, if you can imagine it, we can build it. We will keep working to keep you working!

Q1 was founded  in 2018 by a Broadway and touring electrician / carpenter with the thought of, "Why can't electrics and scenery be friends?" (or at least done in the same place.) With ever changing and advancing technology there is a larger and more frequent call for "light up" props, LED lighting built into scenery, robotic and moving hand props, high output battery operated lighting "practicals," and tour outfitting. We understand what your show wants. With our extensive entertainment lighting/electrical background, our carpentry department, welders, and many other job specific tools and knowledge available, we are your one stop shop for specialty theatrical needs!
